This is a super easy cover to install. You simply replace the four cleats in the bed with the newer style cleats included with the cover. 8 bolts torqued to tightness and your done. Install the cover on the bed rails, center it, hook the tether clips into the eyelets, and tighten the over-sized wing nuts onto the cleats. The end closest to the tailgate has spring loaded handles that extend & retract. You simply pull downward and latch onto the installed cleat. Close your tailgate and if you have a locking tailgate handle, your cargo is secure. This job requires a T50 Torx bit and takes about 30-minutes of your time.

Came installed on a certified-used RTL-E. I read a lot of complaints about leaks, but after prolonged exposure to rain, I haven't noticed any water inside the bed. This is a very sturdy/heavy cover. There are no side rails that inhibit the functionality (width) of the bed. The three-lipped gasket sits on top of the bed edge all the way around. Great design! With a tailgate pad installed for transporting bikes, I can flip the cover closed without using the securing hooks. The weight of the cover keeps it down all the time. Expensive, but I haven't seen a better hard cover for the Ridgeline.
